Study Abroad in Asia Campus
Master of Information Technology Dual Qualifications
The Master of Sciences in IT program is a research-oriented program (By Research) that allows students to focus on their own project from the very beginning. Knowledge is updated and accumulated through the research process and the guidance of lecturers. This approach helps avoid outdated and unnecessary knowledge, focusing solely on the student’s chosen specialization.
This is a full-time study abroad program at the Asia Campus. However, due to its research-based approach, students can still manage their work in their home country during their studies without any impact.

The Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST) has its roots in a visit to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) by the Malaysian Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, and his delegation in 1995. Inspired by MIT's educational model, they aimed to establish a university in Malaysia that mirrored MIT's excellence. This vision was realized in January 1997, when an agreement was signed to establish MUST. During its early years, MUST received comprehensive support and guidance from MIT, a globally recognized leader in advanced science and technology education and research.

Learning Outcomes
The Master of Science in Information Technology (MIT) program is research-based, where candidates, with the support of their supervisors, conduct research and develop an independent project that contributes to areas such as information technology, information processing, data science, management information systems, or interdisciplinary projects.

The program particularly encourages research with an interdisciplinary nature.
Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a Master of Science in Information Technology from MUST and a Master of Information Technology Management from SIMI Swiss, demonstrating:
